"Trainspotting" - Renton and Sick Boy, bored...
This is another of my favorite movies, top twenty. You may think I don't like animals from a couple of these clips I've posted...that is not at all the case. It just so happens that two funny scenes from two of my favorite movies happen to involve animals, a dog and a cat, respectively.
Whatever. It's fucking funny.

Fuckin' Brandon...
As I have stated previously (and oddly enough, in context to Brandon then), there is a "no call" guideline for work, between 5am and 11am. I guess 'cause he wasn't at work yet, he was under the impression that wasn't in play.
10:02 am - Everything silent in the Garcia household, as it normally is that time of the morning.
House phone starts ringing. Open one eye, notice the time....first thought is "who the fuck is calling here???"
Caller ID.....you have got to be fucking kidding me. Brandon.
Answering...."What do you want?" Did not even attempt to be nice about it.
Brandon - " Oh......did I wake you up??"
"YES"
Brandon - "Oh..I'm sorry..."
"What do you want?"
Brandon - "So I was wondering if you are working at the other restaurant NEXT Sunday, because I'm closing at our store, and you are scheduled the open to close on Christmas eve, since we're closing early. I was wondering if we could trade shifts because my family wants me to come to Riverside, and....." and blah, blah, blah....
"Sure, whatever..." I just want to fucking go back to sleep....
Brandon - "Ok, well, I just have to talk to Donna about it, then see if Erin (his girlfriend) can even get it off..."
Once again, you have got to be kidding me. He fucking woke me up before he even had anything finalized?? For something a WEEK AWAY???
"Just let me know later...bye."
*click*
5 minutes of my life I will never get back...
Roll over, go back to sleep. Once again, silence......
10:51 am....phone ringing....
I didn't even move to answer it, because I knew who the fuck it was, and if I would have answered it then, he would have been crying within 30 seconds. So I waited about 3 minutes, picked up the phone to see if I was right (I was), and called him back.
Brandon - "Hey, what's up?" Fucker...
"You called and woke me up....AGAIN...."
Brandon - "Oh, I did? I'm sorry....I left a message....didn't mean to wake you. Just wanted to let you know that everything was set for next week. I really didn't mean to wake you up."
"If you call, the phone still rings, it doesn't matter if you left a message. If the phone rings, it wakes me up."
Brandon - "Oh, I'm really sorry....thanks for doing this by the way...."
"If you ever call my house before noon again..EVER, I'm gonna punch you in the mouth...."
*click*
I went back to sleep with a smile on my face, thinking of the look on his when I said that.... :)

Boondock Saints Courtroom Speech
This is the second clip I was speaking of, and definitely one of the best of the movie.
The Boondock Saints - The cat scene
If you have seen my blog profile, you would notice that this movie, "The Boondock Saints", made it onto the list. I love this movie, and would suggest it to anyone. I'm posting two clips from it for you today.
This first one is without a doubt the funniest scene in the movie. The funny happens in the last 20 seconds of the clip, but you have to see the lead in...
"Is it dead??"
HAHAHAHHAHAHAA!!!!!!!
I think it's safe to say...YES!!
Red Vs Blue - Go Go Gadget PSA
I am constantly going on about the uselessness of some of the bullshit technology that's out. Like phones that do everything a phone is NOT supposed to do. This PSA takes that basic concept, and SOOOO runs with it. More hilarity... :)
It's what's for dinner.
a) they have ever lived with me.
b) they work with me.
I'm not a picky eater or anything. I eat an extraordinary amount of vegatables. The only ones I don't really like are eggplant and sweet potatoes. Both disgusting as far as I'm concerned. Any others, I'm game. Also, I'm totally a carnivore. I LOVE meat. That being said, short of having to start killing it myself, this will not change. Like "someone" told me about a couple of weeks ago when we were talking about this very subject, this is what he had to say about it...
"If God wanted us to be vegetarians, he wouldn't have made animals out of meat."
Not a big fan of seafood, but once in awhile, I've been known to partake. Chicken I can eat all the time, and I usually only gorge myself on turkey when I am eating Kathy's, as she still makes the best damn turkey I've ever had.
But all this doesn't make it into my diet as often as it should....which is why I've never been skinny before....(working on that.....almost.....there....lol) The things that DO make it into my diet???
McDonald's...Carl's Jr...Taco Bell...you starting to get the picture?? I work alot, so I will normally just grab for what's closest.
French fries....I FUCKING LOVE FRENCH FRIES!!!! The one thing I will never give up...
Then, there is the food I eat when I am home....and believe me, it's not an improvement. There is a reason behind it. When I was younger, my mother was never around. There was always a party to go to, or another random guy to fuck, so she was never home. She always went with what was cheap, easy, and quick to prepare, so she could go on about her business. That being said, my diet consisted of things like TV dinners, frozen pot pies, SPAM, pretty much anything that was frozen that could be thrown in the oven and/or cooked quickly. There was one other thing too. Something that is a hold over from that time, that for some reason, I definitely developed a taste for. Something that ALL my friends (except Brian Freeman, he loves all the same shit food I do) think is funny and disgusting all at the same time....
I love the "Chef"..... Chef Boyardee, that is. Dinner in a fucking can...only takes about 5 minutes to warm up. Not in the microwave either. I only use the microwave for reheating, or popcorn. Otherwise, it serves no purpose. So yeah, I love Chef Boyardee, damn near every kind there is. It's not too expensive either, and is on sale often. Which is when I buy it in bulk...or at least used to. I'm trying to break from all the crap (except fries). But I haven't had it for months...and decided I just NEEDED to have some. So when I went to the store to pick up more Coca-Cola (NEVER Pepsi), I saw the Chef was on sale.
That's why it's what's for dinner...
Spaghetti and meatballs(?).....mmmmmm.......

Red vs Blue - Christmas PSA
So this is the PSA of the day. I got Christmas presents today, so I am in a slight Christmas mood, and this is so up my alley...fucking hilarious.
My team beat my team..
I LOVE hockey. It's my favorite sport, baseball a close second. But that's another subject for another day. There's no baseball right now. Only HOCKEY!!
My favorite team? Hands down, the Vancouver Canucks. I started watching hockey 14 years ago, shortly before I left California. The Anaheim "Mighty" Ducks (as they were known then), were in their inaugural season that last year I was in Cali, and as I am an Orange County girl, the Ducks were the first team I knew, and the only team from Orange County I was willing to get behind. My first hockey game was that year, and it was the coolest thing ever. I even almost got my head knocked off by a puck.....awesome...
*note to self - always remember to bring softball glove to hockey games..*
Then shortly after said game (a Christmas present from my aunt), and halfway through that first season, I moved to Washington state, Gig Harbor to be exact. I followed hockey for another season, then between school, work, and a relationship with someone who had ZERO interest in sports, I kinda lost track.
Then things changed. Single again, no school, and a move to a new place....Bellingham. For those who don't know where this is, the easiest way to describe B'ham's location is...
1) One and a half to two hours north of Seattle, depending on traffic...or,
2) Twenty minutes from the Canadian border, and 45 minutes south of Vancouver, B.C.
And so hockey re-enters my life...kick ass....in the form of the Vancouver Canucks.
I even remember a lot of the players from the season I started watching again....Bertuzzi (my fav; shut up), Linden, the Sedin twins, Jovanowski, Morrison, Cloutier, and I think you get the point. Just the way they played together made me want to watch, and I learned alot about hockey that year. So I am a true Canucks fan forever, but I still hold a special place in my heart for the Ducks, and always will.
For fuck's sake, the Ducks were the first team to win the Stanley Cup on the west coast.....ever.
As for the title of this post....
Vancouver Canucks beat the Anaheim Ducks, 3 - 2
